Stone of Jordan going to be the most difficult one to get hold of ...

Why you may ask, it's just a unique ring ...

Well, the reason is this:

to be able to get hold of the Stone of Jordan, you have to have 2 other unique rings first, else that SoJ won't be available to drop.

The two other rings are:

1) Nagelring

- Magic Damage Reduced By 2
- +18 To Attack Rating
- Attacker Takes Damage of 3*
- 15% Better Chance Of Getting Magic Item

and

2) Manald Ring

- 4% Mana Stolen Per Hit
- Replenish Life +5
- +20 To Life

Without these 2 you can't get them as treasure, only way to get hold of them is to trade them then :-)

Found some more information concerning those rings ...

Here it goes:

To find a Stone of Jordan (unique ring) you need the Manald Heal and Nagelring before you can find The Stone of Jordan?

Is there any way you can increase your chances of finding these?

Chances of just finding them are ridiculously low. You need to gamble for them or trade for them if you want a realistic chance of getting any of them. Level your character up into nm or hell act 3 or 4 and just sell off the armor and other pricy equipment you find to get funds to support your new gambling habit. It will be difficult to gather the needed funds in a normal level game.

Figure its going to cost you on average about 1.6 million per ring (3% chance of gambling a unique ring, 33.3 rings * 46,000 gold each)

As is said: a new expensive hobby, just to have a chance of getting the first of the rings ...

One more thing, don't use your high level character to gamble, instead transport the money to a lvl3-5 character and gamble with him.

Why might you ask ... well, as you're higher in level, more and more basic items become available to you, thus decreasing the chance of a ring showing up in the gamble menu.
The lower the level, the more chance of a ring.

It's not as if it's going to increase the chance of getting what you're gambling for, but more like making it less time consuming to gamble for rings.

The main disadvantage of this is however not a small one.
When using a lower level character, it also decreases the number of available pre- and suffixes. Should you in the event of gambling get a rare ring in the progress, it will most likely never be as "good" when you would get it with your high level character.
