Wolf howling at the Moon,
Hear his mournful haunting tune.
His mate has wondered far from home,
Looking for her he always shall roam.
With a Coat of white, and Eyes of blue,
The love in his heart lies ever true.
Her Coat of gray, a beauty to see,
O Heart of Hearts, Why did she flee?
What is that? A sound I hear?
O dear, it sounds ever near.
A female only does he see,
No, wait a moment. Could it be?
Love so bright, Love so true,
My lonely heart no longer Blue!
The Love of my life has returned,
You see my love she had not spurned.
With her returns a litter of four,
Joy of Joys, Who could ask for more?
The wolf looks down at his mate,
"With you, my heart did you take."
She looks up at him with bright eyes,
"We are here now, for the rest of our lives"!
