For those who like to go back in time, here'es a classic game that's lost none of its addictiveness (played it for 6 hours yesterday) :

For a measily 4$ you can unlock the trial version. Do it and get (re)addicted.
Come to think of it, this was catually the 2nd game i ever played on pc (afther the original Grand Prix) ...

This was indeed a very addictive game. Only minus to it is that once you have found the most profitable route (and it was always the same route), then the game lost much of its challenge.
I'll definitely check out this link of yours though. Thanks !

Since Ports of Call is abandonware, I downloaded it a few months (or years) ago. Anybody interested ?
