"Well Met, and welcome again aboard my Vessel.

As you might have seen by know this is no ordinairy Galleon we sail... This is a spelljammer, some of you have already hearded tales of flying ships. Forget most of tales and make up your own mind!

Still this is a vessal in which more than 2 scores odd live on together. I will not tolerate any armed dispute aboard my ship, let this be clear.

I'd like to thank our newest crewmembers for their valiant behaviour in combat, displaying quite some combat skills.

Step forward Joy of Yhaun, Bloco, Buck Roguers, Amanda of Waterdeep and Calim. *cheering & appraizing claps on the back are handed out as you step forward*

You have helped us defeat these Scavvers, Gray Scavver's those are. The smallest of these scavaging beests. To have attacked our vessel they must have been really hungry.

I will see to it that you gain more knowledge from various crew to aid you understand in what kind of environment we all are.

Angur will explain you the workings of the ships and the sphere's.

Jotho will trade you with information about critters he has seen.

And First Mate Epsein will answer your questions regarding other matters you might have.

Now let's feast, we'll have some meat on the table!!

In approximatly 3 day's we'll arrive at Anadin.

* at that point the Captain retires to his quarters in companionship of Meredith the Halfling ambassador.*

After the departure of the Captain, the First Mate steps forward demanding the attention of the crew.

All you, As you know we'll be arriving at Anadia shortly, these have been a quite some turbulent 3 days now and we'll be stopping anchor near Coliar to take a air-dip before continuing and arriving at our destination.

There are a few things the new recruits should know. Anadia is a rond planet with habitation arround the poles. due to the proximity of the Prime, the Sun the equators are too hot to live in and it also populated with many Umber Hulks and other rock-eating beasts.

The populated exists mainly of dark-skinned Halflings, other races are being "protected" for their own good.

We'll be landing on the North Pole, in one of the Counties that permit Spelljammers to land.

Do not go and swim in their streams of ponds, these are near sacred to them.

There will be a shore leaf of 3 days to allow us to resupply in food and gathering other supplies. If you need anything, the local merchant's accept your Toril gold coins.

During Dinner, Angur - and elderly looking human - invites you to join him

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>
Well I guess I should tell you all something more about it *Waves his hand above and arround indicating the star-lit space *.

I will not bother you will all the Magic Theoretica involved and discussed in Mages Circle, except perhaps to Lovely Kira.

As you have noticed, the world you lived on was like a sphere, a round planet with seas and oceans. Many of the planets in this system we call Realms Space resemble it.

But there are many shapes and forms possible, Coliar for example is what we call an Air-World. Although it's called like that there is most likily some ground available, floating arround. Air is abundant but water and food can be expensive.

Earth planets like Toril, where you come from are pretty familiar to you off course. Water world have the same characteristics as an Air world. And Fire world have many volcanoes and rivers of liquid fire.

Odd Shapes also excist like H'Catha, which we will avoid as it's the home of multiple Beholders and their spawn. H'Catha is a flat Water world with 2 great Spires on either side. Disk worlds and other also excist, various shapes actually.

All these planets are encompassed within a crystal Sphere. The distance to that Immense shell is in general twice the distance as from the prime to the most otherward planet.

All these Crystall Shells, as there are many "float" in what we call the Phlogiston, a very volatile substance which contains flows between the shells.

This is in general what is known amongst the space farers.

If you wish to have more information, you just need to ask the question and I'll try and give the answer.

After this little speech, he patiently regards you all to see if you have any questions and leavves to his Chamber if you have none
