I would like to put this contraption up for review. Maybe at first sight you might think … is this a deck? How does it win, what does it do?
It’s pretty straightforward actually… Survive long enough and destroy their threats, then try and recover your life total. One your card-drawing engine kicks in (gate power !) you can start thinking about recovering key utensil cards and start putting them back in your deck.
Alternate win conditions that I’ve considered sofar: Teferi, Hero of Dominaria, Gate Collosus, Gatebreaker Ram, Gatebreaker Gargoyle, Hydroid Krasis. But it would be something to put in the sideboard, not main deck. My point of view is that most decks would have a lot of “dead” cards in their main deck in game one, where they might remove lot’s of those cards for the second game. Sideboarding those critters in my main deck for game 2 could create a new advantage for me. But that’s just my 2cents.
Anyway, this is just a short test for creating templates 🙂
